What food is served?
For brunch, enjoy Jamaican fried dumplings, steamed vegetables, eggs, and fruit. For lunch, chicken jambalaya or fish and seasoned rice is served. Vegetarian meal is available upon request.Of course, you'll enjoy delicious local Blue Mountain coffee and fruit juice.
What should I bring to this Blue Mountains tour?
Come wearing comfortable clothing and footwear. Bring a rain jacket, sunblock, sunglasses, swimwear, towel, water shoes, and cash for souvenirs and gratuities. Leave jewelry and other valuables behind. Carry your electronic devices in a waterproof container.
What are the pick up times?
The exact time of pick up will be provided after you reserve the tour and fill out your information including the hotel you're staying at. In general, pick up in Montego Bay is around 6:00 am and returns at approximately 6:30 pm. Pick up in Falmouth is around 7:00 am and returns at approximately 5:45 pm. Pick up at hotels in Runaway Bay is around 7:20 am and returns at approximately 5:30 am. In Ocho Rios, pick up is around 8:00 a.m. and returns at approximately 5:00 p.m.
What is the weather like?
We're located in the heart of the rainforest so there's always the chance of rain. We have rain ponchos for sale if needed.
Are there any restrictions?
While all ages are allowed on this tour, guests ages 6-60 are able to participate in the bicycle portion, and the maximum weight limit is 250 lbs. Tandem bikes are available upon request.This Blue Mountains private tour is not recommended for pregnant women, those with physical limitations, people with back problems or who have had a recent back surgery, people with respiratory or heart problems, or people with a fear of heights.
Do you need to be a strong swimmer to swim at the waterfall?
We have life vests and river tubes perfect for non-swimmers or less experienced swimmers. Our trained lifeguards are also stationed right by the falls.
Where are the Blue Mountains located?
The Blue Mountains are located in Portland, Jamaica. This tour takes you to the heart of the Blue Mountains. We are approximately 2 hours from Kingston, 2.5 hours from Ocho Rios, and 3.5 hours from Montego Bay.
